Small Bakery Emipan

Small Bakery Emipan is a lovely little bakery in Mashiko and as soon as you step through the doors you'll feel like you're ready to make a bread delivery on a broomstick like Kiki in Kiki's Delivery Service!

With the warm interior and smell of fresh bread, Emi has created a cozy bakery full of delicious bread reminiscent of her childhood.

At Emipan, you must try their specialty which is cope pan! A nostalgic simple bread bun, popular amongst children and Emi carries out the traditional way of selling these buns where she prepares them upon order. These buns are made in a traditional cast iron oven giving the buns a crisp exterior and pillow like interior which you can have with butter, seasonal jams, peanut cream or red bean!
