Escape the city and immerse yourself in the scenic orchards of Kuroishi, Aomori - Japan's apple capital!
Start your day surrounded by the crisp air and endless rows of apple trees as you hand pick and eat your own fresh, juicy apples straight from the source whilst learning about the incredible efforts that go into growing these incredibly versatile fruits.
After picking, you'll enjoy a wood-fired BBQ experience, dining on wood fired pizzas, yakitori, seafood and more! To cap off the feast, you'll get to make your own apple pies using apples you harvest on the day!
Whether you're travelling with your significant other, friends or family, this is your chance to experience Kuroishi's rich food culture and hospitality, experiencing Japan's incredible fruits directly from the source.
Kuroishi is a perfect place to visit for a day trip or overnight trip if you're visiting Aomori Prefecture and is not far from places like Hirosaki, Akita and Aomori city.
Other things to note
Prices are ¥7,500 for children up to 12 years old
Apple picking is available from 1 September to 15 September and 25 October to 5 November (in between these dates candy apple making will replace apple picking at a discounted rate)
Yakitori (bbq skewers) includes innards so please specify in the comments when booking if you do not eat innards
Please also specify any other dietary requirements that you may have
