The Art of Aizome: Indigo Dyeing Workshop
Step into the deep blue world of Aizome (indigo dyeing) in the charming town of Kuroishi where you can create with colour and connect with culture.
In this hands on workshop, you'll use locally grown indigo, cultivated by a former nurse who started Aizome in her efforts to revitalise the area as she guides you through the ancient techniques.
Whether you choose to create your one of a kind towel, scarf, handkerchief or shirt, each piece will carry a story which you can take home with you to remember!
