Kenmoku Pottery

Kenmoku Pottery is run by Konomi who creates a range of elevated and beautiful, yet functional ceramics that aim to seamlessly blend with your lifestyle. The sculptures created by Konomi bring to life used or rejected items, such as recycled aluminium roofs as she incorporates her style of ceramics with the concept of Mashiko Mingei.

Using a noborigama (climbing kiln), you'll find pieces here that encapsulate the Mingei philosophy that values everyday, handcrafted objects made for practical daily use rather than for display or prestige.
