Located on the main pottery street in Mashiko and is a 3 minute walk from the Mashiko Museum of Ceramic Art
Free parking is also available outside the bakery
By Car: 2 hours from Tokyo
By Train: Take the shinkansen from Tokyo Station to Utsunomiya Station (52 minutes) and take the bus from Platform 14 for 57 stops (54 minutes) to 道祖土下 and walk for 6 minutes
Meet the baker
Emi has created a cozy bakery full of delicious bread reminiscent of her childhood
She makes her koppe pan with a traditional cast iron oven giving the buns a crisp exterior and pillow like interior which you can have with butter, seasonal jams, peanut cream or red bean
Emi used to be a kindergarten teacher before deciding to follow her passions into baking!
