Location & how to get there
Located on the main pottery street in Mashiko and is a 5 minute walk from the Mashiko Museum of Ceramic Art
Free parking is also available outside the workshop
2 hour drive from Tokyo
2 hour train ride: Shinkansen from Tokyo Station to Utsunomiya Station (52 minutes) and take the bus from Platform 14 for 61 stops (1 hour) to 城内坂 and walk for 1 minute
About the gallery

Cocoro Gallery is now run by a 4th generation family and together, this husband, wife and son team aim to spread joy both through their pottery pieces and their connected cafe
40% of the pieces available are made by the family and you'll see their distinct style shine through each and every piece which celebrates the fun and joy that a simple dinnerware can bring through everyday use
The remaining 60% features tableware including wooden utensils as well as pottery pieces from craftsmen in both Mashiko and Minoyaki from Gifu prefecture
