Reviews:
It was my first time trying jewelry making, and it couldn't be any better to do it in Kofu, a city that makes 30% of Japan's jewelry! I love how I get to create a one-of-a-kind piece and OMG the sakura motif makes it so memorable for my Japan journey. The workshop instructor was so helpful, he shared each step with us, and helped us when we struggled. And yes I struggled in one of the steps, but I think I did so well in the rest, if I may say so myself haha. We also got a special tour that showed us the behind-the-scenes on how rings and other jewelry were made, it was so insightful and it made me appreciate the craft a lot more after! Thanks Doko for this special experience, something I would never be able to find if I were to plan this on my own.

Had a great time joining this jewelry-making experience. It felt rewarding to create something with my own hands. The staff was knowledgeable and walked us through each part of the process, which gave me a new appreciation for how much craftsmanship goes into every piece.

This jewelry-making experience was such a fun and refreshing way to spend time in Kofu and create a special Japan keepsake. Ratna-san (the head jewelry craftsman) was so patient, even with someone like me with zero crafting skills, and the whole process—choosing a design, shaping, polishing—was surprisingly calming.
